Born on September 20th 1969, Farid Bedjaoui holds a BA in Economics from University of Montreal, Canada in 1992 and a Certificate in Finance from Hautes Etudes Commerciales HEC, Canada in 1993.
During his successful career, Farid has founded and led the following entities:
- Ryan Partners (United Arab Emirates – 2007). Ryan Partners provides strategic advice and consultancy services to multi-national oil and gas companies from across the globe looking to do business in the MENA region. Farid has brought continuous fresh insight into operations and management of the company and streamlined its sales and marketing activities.
- Ultra Industrial Services Limited (United Arab Emirates – 2006). Ultra Industrial is a leading engineering solutions company in the oil and gas construction field that provides the construction and maintenance of gathering systems, tie ins, facility and pipe abandonment as well as turnaround and shut downs.
- Rayan Asset Management (United Arab Emirates – 2001). Rayan is a strategic partner of Russell Investments, a US based asset management firm, in the Middle East. Rayan markets the Russell funds to an array of institutional clients that includes SWFs, pension funds, and banks.
- Tradexi SARL (France – 1997). Tradexi is a trading company that handles the trade of commodities & agrifood (wheat, corn & barley) with other companies like Glencore International AG and Soufflet.
- COTRAC SARL (France – 1993). Cotrac is a trading company that deals with worldwide import and export of green coffee and animal fodder, especially to North African countries.
